In the year 2018, ABS hit the headlines once again when it entered into a partnership with Fujitsu General Limited, Japan’s leading manufacturer of air-conditioners. The partnership marked Fujitsu General Limited’s foray into the commercial HVAC market in India.

The Collaboration

For over 83 years, Fujitsu General Limited has been at the forefront of the global HVAC business. Three key characteristics the organization is highly reputed for are our quality, reliability, and innovation. Quite naturally, when it came to expanding their reach in India, they wanted an ideal partner who shared their passion to excel. And they found ABS the perfect fit.

Talking about the partnership, Mr. Etsuro Saito, President, of Fujitsu General Limited, pointed out, “around 60 years ago, Fujitsu General was like ABS. We see a reflection of Fujitsu General’s energy, dedication, ion and focus on customer delight in ABS and that’s what made us choose ABS as our partner.”

While talking about the prospects that lie ahead, he further added, “We consider the ‘expansion of foreign commercial business’ and the ‘capture and expansion of Indian market’ as part of our ‘five key expansion projects’ towards achieving our mid-term management plan. Currently, we have strong brand power with residential air conditioners in the air conditioning market in India. At the same time, we have also been developing commercial air conditioners for small and medium-sized buildings in recent years. ABS Fujitsu General possesses an extensive track record in office, commercial facilities, hospitals, factories, and logistics facilities with a focus on large air conditioning systems such as chillers and air handling units.”

ABS Fujistu, ever since its inception in 1996, has completed over a thousand projects across various domains. After the successful collaboration with Fujitsu General in 2018, ABS Aircon Engineers was renamed ABS FUJITSU GENERAL PRIVATE LIMITED.
