| As a leading manufacturer of industrial valves, packing, gaskets, and seal kits, Magpie Valve (https://www.magpievalves.com/
) is a research-driven enterprise committed to advancing valve technology through material science, precision engineering, and independently verified performance standards. Our mission is to elevate the role of valves in critical industrial applications by focusing on the core factors that define reliability—above all, sealing performance. As large-scale machining is no longer the primary challenge in China’s valve industry, our work emphasizes the mechanical behavior of non-metallic sealing materials, advanced coating technologies for sealing surfaces, and the study of friction and wear—areas that represent the true barriers to achieving high-performance, long-life valves.
Our multidisciplinary team includes nuclear-grade sealing engineers, valve specialists, materials scientists, and electromechanical engineers. Together, we integrate academic research with real-world industrial experience to deliver high-integrity, high-reliability valve solutions. Through extensive collaboration with leading institutions—such as the National Key Laboratory of Friction at Lanzhou University of Technology, the Ningbo Institute of Materials, East China University of Science and Technology, and the Shanghai Institute of Ceramics—we conduct deep research into low-emission graphite sealing technologies and systematically address the root causes of sealing failures.
Supported by comprehensive testing and authoritative third-party certification, Magpie Valve holds major international approvals including API 622, API 624, API 641, ISO 15848-1, TA-LUFT, and ISO 15848-1 CC3. Nearly 500 valve products—from gate and globe valves to ball valves—have been tested under extreme conditions ranging from 400°C to –196°C and pressures up to Class 2500 LB. These achievements not only ensure full compliance with global standards but also establish new benchmarks for reliability, safety, and technological advancement in the industrial valve sector. |
