| Olney Friends School is a vibrant, progressive learning community consisting of a series of historic buildings, a modern science center, 350 acres of green space, a large pond, and certified organic farmland in rural Ohio, at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains.
Rooted in Quaker tradition for over 180 years, our transdisciplinary, place-based curriculum consists of a strong focus on math, sciences, humanities, and metanoia, with additional credits required in language, questions of conscious (religion, philosophy, psychology, and social justice), financial literacy, health, and art.
Our school places value on fostering global citizens who are good people - successful in their lives, careers, and endeavors. Our small diverse student body comes from all over the world to be part of the Olney community. Our average class size is 7 and our student to faculty ratio is 3:1, which allows for an individualized learning environment for our students. |
