At present, funding cybersecurity research projects is one of the key focus areas of the government of India. It has allotted over INR 42 Crore and is funding around 36 ongoing research projects. We support and strengthen the government and help fuel it’s initiatives by initiating various activities that help build synergistic networks and nurture fruitful partnerships.
Strengthening Government Cybersecurity Initiatives and Processes
Cybersecurity CoE helps strengthen the cybersecurity practice in the government. We partner closely with the government to build entrepreneurs that will impact the future of cybersecurity and fuel innovation in the domain.
Government
Our activities include providing input towards formulating government policies, e. g. National Cybersecurity Policy 2020, standing by the Data Privacy & Protection Bill, hosting workshops for LEA and conducting awareness campaigns, reviewing appropriate areas within the cybersecurity domain that the departments are engaged in and suggesting impactful solutions. The CCoE functions to accelerate start-up initiatives organised by the government and facilitate innovation. |
