Sildisoft tablets contain sildenafil citrate as their active ingredient, which belongs to a class of medications known as phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitors. Sildenafil citrate works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, which helps a man achieve and maintain an erection. It does this by inhibiting the enzyme phosphodiesterase type 5, which normally breaks down a substance called cyclic guanosine monophosphate (cGMP).
